Mirabellas Magnum
RCK Ragtime Tres Oros X Charhill's Chelcee B Wild
Buckskin foaled May 2007
Though the names of Magnum's sire and dam are not well known, the lines behind are very well known. RCK Ragtime Tres Oros is by Robbi-Sue's Success Story out of Robbi-Sue's Mystique. The Robbi-Sue horses are known, not only for their color but for the kind dispositions and willing attitudes. Success Story was sired by
Robbi-Sue's Sweet Success who in turn was sired by the purely Lippitt bred Equinox Beaubrook. Beaubrook goes back to Ashbrook, Lippitt Sam, Ethan Eldon, Moro, Ethan Allen 3rd, Lippitt Miss Nekomia, Lippitt Darling, Polly Rogers, and Lippitt Sallie to name a few- these are the old Lippitt family, that trace back to Woodbury and Sherman Morgan. They were the cornerstones of the Lippitt Family. Tres Oros's dam was another Robbi-Sue mare- Robbi-Sue's Mystique. She was by the well known Edelweiss Magic Man, and out of Robbi-Sue Misalert. Misalert was also the dam of Robbi-Sue's Sweet Success. Misalert was by Robbi-Sue Moralert out of Pendelton Buck Missy. Interestingly Pendleton Buck Missy, though registered as Buckskin, was a smoky grulla mare. Adding more color to an already colorful family. Robbi -Sue's Success Story was out of In-Glen Elation who was by Deer Run Command out of Gilbara Penelope by Andon Corking Good. This sire line goes back to Ulendon via Vigilendon, who was a full brother to Orcland Vigildon, and Orcland Leader. Ulendon being by US Government farm bred Ulysses, this is a tail male Sherman line. Andon Corking Good also brought in two lines to Cecil Ferguson's famous stallion Parade by Cornwallis out of Mansphyliss by Mansfield out of the Jubilee King daughter Paragraph. Andon Corking Good also carried Orcland Leader himself, and the very well known stallion Easter Twilight by Lippitt Sam Twilight out of Conniedale- combining the old Lippitt blood once again, with the old blood of Daniel Lambert as well as more Mansfield blood. Easter Twilight was bred to Tinkerbelle to produce Bald Mt Firefly, who was a full sister to Bald Mt. Black Cloud- well known for his type and disposition. Tinkerbelle was by Sealect out of Friendly.
Sealect, combined the blood of Knox Morgan and Ethan Allen 3rd. Very prestigious breeding indeed. While Friendly represents the bloodlines of Bennington and his half sister Ulwinna by out of Juno . This is early US Government Morgan Farm breeding indeed. On the bottom side of Gilbara Penelope's papers there is more US Government blood through Linsley and Querido via Silver Ranger. Also present on her bottom lines are horses bred by Richard Sellman's famous breeding program- Headlight Morgan, and The Admiral- the presence of these two give lines back to Bulrush and Woodbury as well as Sherman through Black Hawk. Pendleton Buck Missy , in addition to her color, added the bloodlines of Flyhawk, and Jubilee King with the Government Farm breeding- that of Querido and Linsley. She carried Warhawk twice, through Du Noir Strip and Joe Lewis, she gave more Go Hawk through Gizea his daughter. Jubilee King is represented by his sons Glider, and Juzan, and his blood again via his full sister Sentola- dam of Warhawk. Knox Morgan is present twice through his daughter the excellent broodmare Liza Jane – dam of Gizea.
Charhills Chelcee Be Wild , dam of Mirabellas Magnum, was by Robbi-Sue Ragtime a full brother to Robbi-Sue Mystique behind Magnum's sire. They were by Edelweiss Magic Man out of Robbi-Sue Misalert. Edelweiss Magic Man was by Suetors Lendon out of Suetor by Tutor out of Ginger Cookie – a granddaughter of both Government bred Panfield by Canfield- a full brother to Mansfield, and Upwey King Peavine. Tutor was by Mentor by Goldfield and out of Kona by Goldfield. With the exception of Upwey King Peavine, Suetor can be considered of pure US Government Farm breeding. Wales Farm Lucky Boy was the sire of Suetors Lendon. Lucky Boy went back to Bonfire by Senator Graham by Senator Knox by Knox Morgan. Lucky Boy's sire was Foxy Nighthawk by Foxfire by Bonfire and out of Foxy Hawk by Flyhawk. Lucky Boy's dam was Ulinda Rose by Ulendon out of Rosalee by Magellan- a combination of Flyhawk and US Government breeding.
The dam of Edelweiss Magic Man was Dark Debonette by Sargeant Mac out of Babes Star Dust. Sargeant Mac went back to Sealect, Bennington, Redfern- sister to Mansfield- and Lippitt Croyden Ethan via Conniedale. Babes Star Dust went back to Canfield through her sire -Babes Delight who was out of Lippitt Trixie Ash by Ashbrook out of Lippitt Trixie whose dam was by the Knox Morgan. The dam of Babes Stardust was Sally Rogers the exquisite daughter of Will Rogers who was the sire of Red Correll. Sally Rogers was a daughter of Bird L by Linsley out of Lemax. The Linsley/Lemax cross is one that produced many fine breeding and working Morgans.
JMF Wild Sunrise was the dam of Charhills Chelcee Be Wild . She was by Waseekas Wildly Royal out of JMF Royal Cameo by Windhover Regency out of JMF Ebony Beam. Regency and Ebony Beam were both Beamington bred horses with lines to Flyhawk and Great Hill Atlantic by Orcland Leader. Waseekas Wildly Royal was by Trebles Willy Wild out of Royal Oaks Marianne by Waseekas Skylark out of Windcrest Ann by Upwey Ben Don. Trebles Willy Wild was by Windy Hill Willy out of Donlyn of Windcrest's daughter Junehill Fascination. Though this side of the family is best known as being very successful show horses in their day- their bloodlines go back to the older bloodlines quickly, numbering among their families- Senator Graham, Senator Knox, Bennington, Jubilee King, Troubadour of Willowmoor, Ashbrook, Flyhawk, Knox Morgan, Romanesque and many more representing all three families of Morgans- Government, Lippitt, and Brunk as well as breeding programs such as Richard Sellman's, The Sentney program, and Broadwall's breeding.
Though at first glance it is not immediately obvious , Mirabellas Magnum has a pedigree in which there are more than a few of the same horses on both sides- top and bottom- which should give this young stallion breeding strength as well as charisma . In time he should well be able to pass those traits on.
